[[[Bone White China, December 2015]]] Maternity and Post-Natal Fashion

I have, however, found recently (my son is 8 months old so I totally missed the boat with this I might add) a vintage inspired maternity brand called Clary & Peg.  

I am a fan of vintage fashion so their stuff is right up my street! The collection includes the most perfect Pinafore. It comes in needlecord or denim. Both are gorgeous and so versatile. You could wear them with quite literally anything and dress them up or down. One of the reasons i love pinafores (and dungarees) is that all your non pregnancy shirts can be worn with the middle buttons open to relieve your expanding boobies and nobody will know!  The Clary & Peg Jumpsuit is a wonderful alternative to maternity dungarees. They look super comfortable, a little different (that ain’t a bad thing) and again, totally versatile. Converse and a Breton on the school run or a thin black roll neck with a nice pair of shiny brogues for a smart lunch with your pals. The Clary & Peg Swing top and Two-Tiered shift dress work well in an office environment but could also be worn for dinner with maternity jeans (I recommend Topshop maternity jeans. They are ace) or tights/leggings. And the best thing of all. Every piece of Clary & Peg’s collection is designed to be worn all the way through pregnancy and AFTER. Ok the prices aren’t cheap. But one piece would see you through your entire pregnancy and onwards. Whats not to love?
